Training & Workshop Program
Day 1 - dbt Core
- Introduction to fundamental features of a dbt project;
- Key concepts;
- Quick overview of advanced features;
- Hands-on Lab session to create a basic dbt project and version control;
- Basic dbt commands;
Day 2 - dbt Core
- Introduction to advanced features like seeds, snapshots, analyses, exposures;
- Advanced dbt commands;
- Demo of sample use-cases for advanced features;
Day 3 - dbt Cloud
- DataOps concepts for dbt;
- Version control, and CI/CD process;
- Demo of dbt project orchestration using automation server like GitHub;
- Introduction to dbt Cloud service;
- dbt Cloud’s Service Architecture;
- Demo of developing a dbt project on the Cloud platform;
- Orchestration on the Cloud
Practicalities
- This course spans 3 days of 4 hours each;
- This course is fully remote and instructor-led;
- A basic knowledge of SQL is expected;
